Besides glancing at the Mitchell collection, you might also look at J. Gerald Kennedy's article, "Place, Self, and Writing" (THE SOUTHERN REVIEW 26 [1990]: 496-516), which makes reference to Miller and the city. Donald Pizer's AMERICAN EXPATRIATE WRITING AND THE PARIS MOMENT (Baton Rouge: Lousiana State UP, 1996) and Jean Meral's PARIS IN AMERICAN LITERATURE (Chapel Hill: U of North Carolina P, 19890 also have significant discussions about the city in Miller's work.
