I can understand your Italian but can't write it. Can you understand English? If so, is there any Italian writer like Henry Miller? I don't know Italian literature well. Only names like Italo Calvino and Umberto Eco and, claro, the old masters and classical writers. But I can't imagine a modern Italian writer like Miller. Maybe the Catholic Church is still too strong there? If you can write in French I can read and write that too although not perfectly.
