How about this topic: "The Craving for Food in Tropic of Cancer"? If you're a College student and taking Psychology, I'd suggest to make it more sophisticated; something like "The Phagomaniac Artist in Tropic of Cancer" or even "Portrait of the Artist as a Phagomaniac in Tropic of Cancer". Your teacher should be intrigued if not impressed (and probably will have to look up the word "phagomania" in his dictionary). The best book by Henry on this subject is "Plexus", but there's still a lot of hunger related stuff in "Tropic of Cancer" and "Quiet Days in Clichy".
